Tensuke and Chikako are siblings who lost their parents.
One
day, Tensuke was invited to go to his friend Atsushi’s
cottage. Atsushi’s family’s overly sensitive
care-taking makes Tensuke feel uneasy. Watching Atsushi
film with a video camera, Tensuke starts to film his
own images with the canteen his sister gave him.

Manami’s father, Yutaka has been looking for a
new job after being laid off. After meeting another woman
and becoming romantically involved, Yutaka never returns
home except for the occasional drops-ins to pick up mail.
With an angry mom and a sister facing entrance exams,
Manami decides to look for the apartment where Yutaka
lives with his lover in order to ask his true intentions.
